FPL is the oldest and largest international conference on configware, reconfigurable circuits, and systems and their applications. The history of the FPL conference traces back to the International Workshop on Field-Programmable Logic and Applications, organized in 1991 in Oxford, England. It later developed into the International Conference on Field-Programmable Logic and Applications. This conference aims to bring together workers from throughout the world for a widely ranging discussion of all forms of reconfigurability, reconfigurable computing, and their applications, including, but not limited to: industrial applications, advanced EDA, research applications, novel systems architectures, and educational experiences.
